watch jodi benson recording "part of your world" in 1989 [the interweb]

last night, i found myself on a youtube wormhole, searching video after video after video until two hours had passed and i had no idea where i was and how i got there. it was totally fun, and among the many things i found was this awesome footage of jodi benson recording "part of your world" back in 1989. 

i'm sure the video came from some dvd extras somewhere. but i'd never seen it, so i totally lost my mind. what a fucking talent. 

here's a crazy coincidence though. at the 1:20 mark, you'll see jodi benson name check the lunt fontanne theater. years later, that's the same theater where the little mermaid would premiere on broadway. that's nutty!!!

what? no one cares but me? oh...
